One address for everything. We aim to reply to genuine enquiries within a few business days.
What to write to us about
Corrections. This is the most valuable thing you can send us. Include the page URL, what you believe is wrong, and a source if you have one. We publish corrections rather than editing quietly, and factual accuracy takes priority over everything else in our queue.
Platforms we have missed. If a New Zealand crypto service is not covered here and should be, tell us. Include the legal entity name and the website. We check the Financial Service Providers Register before writing about anything.
Questions about our coverage. If something on the site is unclear or you think the reasoning behind a rating is wrong, we would rather hear it than not.
Media and research enquiries. We are happy to point journalists and researchers to primary sources on the New Zealand market.
What we cannot help with
- Account problems at a platform. We have no relationship with any operator's support team. Contact them directly, and escalate to their dispute resolution scheme if needed — you can find it on the FSP Register.
- Personalised investment advice. That is a regulated activity in New Zealand and we are not licensed to provide it.
- Recovering scammed funds. Nobody can do this, and anyone claiming they can is running a second scam. Report to your bank, the Police via 105, and Netsafe.
- Price predictions. We do not make them and we would not believe anyone who does.
- Tax advice for your situation. Talk to a chartered accountant — our accountants page covers what to ask.
If you have been scammed
Act quickly and in this order: contact your bank, report to the Police through 105, and report to Netsafe. Report the entity to the Financial Markets Authority even if you expect nothing back — that is how warning lists get built for the next person. Our scams page has the full sequence.
